Here is a wonderful original pressing 12-inch 33-1/3 rpm record by:
John Coltrane, Impulse A-21 (original mono pressing), "John Coltrane," 1962, original label pressing!
Rudy Van Gelder mastered this, though his usual "RVG" and "ear" marks are not stamped into the dead wax on each side, as is usually the case with his productions for Blue Note.
Coltrane blows with Elvin Jones, Jimmy Garrison, and McCoy Tyner on this awesome hard bop LP!
Shiny, glossy, heavy vinyl disc is in excellent condition with a few light marks. Plays through wonderfully. Overall grade: not perfect, but pretty close!
Very clean labels with no writing or stickers. Center hole is perfect and I can see only a couple very tiny spindle marks that are mostly indetectable (see scan).
Shiny, laminated, gatefold jacket is NM- with only a couple light and tiny corner dinks. No writing, seam splits or ring wear!
As always, from my non-smoking, pet-free home! Obviously I will take the utmost care in packaging this wonderful old record in order to get it to you in the same condition that I have described it. Nothing will be allowed to rattle around and cause damage during shipment. I take great pride in making sure all my parcels are wrapped as well as possible. My feedback attests to this.
