John Coltrane (with Paul Chambers, Arthur Taylor, Red Garland) SETTIN’ THE PACE Prestige 7213, recorded 1957. Black and yellow Bergenfield label; Deep Groove.One black rubber stamp from retail on the back of jacket. Front of jacket is delaminating slightly on the opening side. Also includes Prestige Bergenfield inner sleeve. Disc plays VG++, with occasional pops and a regular whisper. Jacket is hard laminated first-style: cover text in both green and purple.. Has a small bit of delamination going on on the open-envelope side of front. One retail rubber stamp on back, and some general handling wear. NM-, considering.

Here’s the sixth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases.
