Description
Prestige 7142, deep groove with the address of 203 So. Washington AVe., Bergenfield, N.J. on both labels and the bottom of the back cover. 5 tracks with Coltrane, tenor sax; Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Art Taylor, drums.
Cover: VG+ Intact with some edge and corner wear. Light aging on the back cover. A very small amount of light soil on the front cover from ordinary handling. Gloss finished front cover.
Record: VG+ Visually shows no wear. There are a few clicks at the beginning of Track 1, Side A and a small amount of light, short intervals of groove noise on Track 2, Side A. Side B has 4 or 5 very light, short rub marks. Track 1 has only a small amount of groove noise towards the end of the track. In addition there are a small number of clicks on the balance of the side. I have accounted for the slight noise with the overall rating. Overall the quality is fine but there is some audible, infrequent noise as described. Audibly checked.
