Description

John Coltrane "Soultrane" original LP, Prestige # 7142, mono 

This auction is for an original copy of the jazz album "Soultrane" by John Coltrane. Sesssion features Coltrane on tenor sax, Red Garland on piano, paul Chambers on bass, and Arthur Taylor on drums. Record is the deep groove Prestige yellow and black "fireworks" label with the Bergenfield N.J. address, "RVG" stamped in the dead wax on both sides and is mono. Album is an original and was obtained along with many other 50s and early 60s jazz records. Vinyl is NM and appears unplayed with plenty of shine and gloss. Glossy jacket is VG+ with some light storage wear and light staining on upper back (please see photo below), with no splits and solid corners. Record has been stored outside of jacket since finding this LP. Please see photo below. An very nice copy of this hard to find jazz LP. Will ship well packed in cardboard record mailer.
