CONDITION DETAILS Limited Edition set with festive, blue outer slip-cover. Slip-case and "IWTL" are still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened) with gift tag hype-sticker. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Both gate-fold covers look great; scuffing on "IWTL", light-scuffing and surface impressions on Rocky Mountain Christmas (RMC) (front/back/inner-gate); light-scuffing near top, surface abrasion near bottom-left and sections of shrink missing on back of slip-case. IWTL has slight discoloration on front. Inner-sleeves are original (one generic white, one artwork/lyrics); four seams partially split. All three spines are easy-to-read (text printed off-center on IWTL) with very mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge on IWTL; minor shelf-wear on RMC. Minor wear to corners of album jackets. Some wear along top/bottom-edge and corners of slip-case. Tear near left on top-edge of slip-case. Openings are crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Rocky Mountain Christmas, by John Denver, was his first Christmas-themed release. The album includes renditions of several traditional carols and popular Christmas standards as well as re-recorded versions of two songs from earlier Denver albums, Aspenglow and Please Daddy (Don't Get Drunk This Christmas). I Want To Live, by singer-songwriter John Denver peaked at No. 10 on Billboard's Country Albums and No. 45 on Billboard 200 in the U.S. It spawned three singles: How Can I Leave You Again (No. 2 A/C, No. 22 Country, No. 44 Hot 100), I Want to Live, and It Amazes Me. The title song was dedicated to the "Hunger Project", which Denver was on the board of directors.
