John Denver was a musical phenomenon with a legendary musical career breaking wide open in the late-sixties. Featuring a plethora of hit recordings in pop, country and adult genres, he shared his vocal talents with millions of fans with his records, concerts and top rated television shows and movies for over three decades.

With 1975’s Rocky Mountain Christmas LP, John Denver created one of the most successful holiday top charting hit albums of all time. The LP features 12 stellar interpretations of both popular and inspirational favorites like definitive hit versions of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and Silver Bells, plus impressive readings of classics Away In A Manger and O Holy Night

The 1975 holiday masterpiece finds the artist at the top of his game. Arranged and orchestrated by folk rock legend Milt Okun, this top charting masterpiece has been out of print for decades on vinyl, and it is our honor to announce for the first time 180g Audiophile Vinyl presentation of Rocky Mountain Christmas by the legendary John Denver on Friday Music.
