John Fahey 'The Yellow Princess'.

Original UK Vanguard label stereo 1st press LP.
The second UK LP (ninth US LP), from John Fahey, the man who introduced stream of consciousness into folk music and turned folk into classical music, and then made it cross the boundaries of Western and Eastern music. With the earliest 1Y//1-2Y//1 matrices and matching 1-1-4/1-1-2 stampers!

The fully laminated sleeve is intact and in EX condition with some light corner/edge wear and some light laminate rubbing & small creases on the outer cover. The plain compamy inner is intact & in EX condition.

  The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only s couple of very faint sleeve removal hairlines visible on each side which do not affect play. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps and only some very brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really loud, clean & clear listen.  

The matrix nos. are; SVRL-19033, 1Y//1-420 stamper 1-1-4, 2Y//1-420 stamper 1-1-2. This is one of the very earliest copies of the 1st UK pressing of the original 1968 UK stereo issue of this album!

 

All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!!    All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,

Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
