John Jenkins ' Jazz eyes ' REGENT MG 6056 (USA) green label with deep groove and catalog number RMG 6056 - rec. on September 10, 1957 - rare original 1957 issue - on trail-off (dead wax) has stamped 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder John Jenkins : alto sax - Donald Byrd : trumpet - Curtis Fuller : trombone - Tommy Flanagan : piano - Doug Watkins : bass - Art Taylor : drums Side A : Star eyes (Raye-DePaul) - Orpheus Side B : Honeylike - Rockaway All compositions by John Jenkins except as indicated Visual grading : record is EX has light wear and has minimal light unfeelable surface marks barely visible on side B. Clean labels with minimal spindle wear Playing grading : record is EX plays very well with loud and clear sound. Has a minimal occasional background noise in very few quieter parts (i.e. bass solo) Cover grading : cover is VG+ has light wear to corners, edges and to spine. Top left corner is lightly bumped. Has a very thin transparent tape in the middle of bottom edge barely visible on front only (cm.10 or 4")I am selling here records from my own private collection. I have not a store or a website.
