Description

John Klemmer Touch 1978 original US MFSL 1-0006 Mobile Fidelity, which are of course pressed in Japan for the US company back then, as they wanted the quietest vinyl in the world. 1/2 Speed mastering housed in the rice paper type layered sleeve. The gatefold card insert is present as shown. Pristine Near Mint record plays fully near mint, heard throughout on a high end system, this has not had many plays, and despite the fact that I kept getting lost in the beautiful music, I can assure you this is without fault. Liquid black backgrounds allow the band to sparkle, making you forget the medium and just be immersed in the sounds. I've heard quite a few MFSL's over the years, and I am tempted to say this is the best of them all for me, firstly on the difference between it and the standard US ABC, and then on the soundstage and dynamics. Despite the 1-0006 catalogue number, this is the first jazz album on MFSL, and the second one worth having (after 1-0005 Supertramp) as the first 4 lps were all of the mystic moods orchestra, so just easy listening.  This all resides, separated to prevent splits, in a heavy gauge new poly outer awaiting our careful packing in custom made hard card boxes.
