Description
Mega Rare LP of John Lee Hooker - House of the Blues (Chess 1438 - mono) Original black label edition - NOT a current re-issue! Truly an acknowledged blues classic that no serious collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make noise and with much of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still, you will definitely hear some noise. The cover is in Poor condition with musty smell, general age/shelf wear, severe water damage/paper-warping and stains on the front and back cover. There is an old rubber stamp on the back liner. What can I say, the cover did it's job protecting the LP all these years and it shows. But if you can find another one of these rarities, just buy it!!
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments. I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials. One LP to Canada would be $20.00
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
Paypal accepted or write for preferred payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
