Description
I’m John Lee Hooker is a cornerstone collection from 1959, bringing together early classics such as Dimples, Hobo Blues, I’m So Excited, Boogie Chillen, and Little Wheel in the stark, propulsive style that made Hooker a blues original. These performances capture the hypnotic guitar figures, clipped rhythms, and commanding vocals that influenced generations of blues and rock musicians. This mono Vee-Jay Records copy is catalog number VJLP 1007, confirmed from the deep red inner label and jacket. The vinyl is graded Very Good, while the Good sleeve has split edges reinforced with tape and the inlay is Very Good; despite the visible cover repairs, it remains a compelling vintage copy of an important title. Please examine every photo carefully for the exact label, wear, and repairs.
