Description

John Lee Hooker, "John Lee Hooker Plays and Sings The Blues", Chess LP 1454, Monaural.  Rare black label original first pressing from 1961.
Vinyl = Side 1 VG+;  Side 2 strong VG. Overall vinyl rating = 7.5 out of 10. Several light scratches and paper scuffs that do not effect the sound quality. Plays well. Labels show some spindle marks near the center. (See photos).
Cover = VG+: Minor rub marks and name written in pen on back near top. There is a 1" seam split at bottom opening, otherwise excellent.
Album will be shipped in plastic insert with record placed outside of cover to prevent splitting.
