John Lee Hooker - Plays and Sings the Blues

Catalog # Chess LP 1454

1961 Mono black label Chess pressing.

Media = VG+. LP still has plenty of gloss. There are light marks on either side of the LP, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I have play tested both sides of his lp multiple times and it sounds amazing! Not a single skip on either side. No huge loud pops that ruin things either. Maybe some light noise in-between a track or two. Overall, an above average original play copy.

Sleeve = VG+. Glossy sleeve is still gorgeous. Light discoloration in places on the mostly white back of the sleeve. Small, one inch rip on top right hand corner of sleeve.

I grade using Goldmine Standards.
