JOHN LEE HOOKER - THE BIG SOUL OF ... - 1963 on STATESIDE RECORDS
CAT. NO. SL 10053 MONO
Year: 1963Condition: Cover is EX, Vinyl is EX or better.
On offer is a excellent copy of John Lee Hooker's 'The Big Soul of ...', released in the UK on the black and green Stateside label in 1963. This is the original and 1st UK issue and is a superb up-tempo Hooker album from start to finish. The album comes from our own collection and has been well cared for and is in lovely condition.
The nice heavy vinyl is graded excellent and is very clean, no scratches, scuffs or unwanted blemishes, really nice.
The glossy front laminated flip back cover is excellent, nice and glossy, a few little edge wrinkles, slight corner wear otherwise very nice. The reverse is clean with light signs of ageing and handling, this is a very nice and solid cover. The spine is solid and clean and all text is legible.
Labels are very clean some spindle marks suggesting only light use.
Original Emitex poly-lined inner sleeve is excellent.
We try to be as conservative as possible in Grading and give a clear honest description so you will be happy with your purchase.
