Description
JOHN LEE HOOKER - BIG SOUL OF JOHN LEE HOOKER on STATESIDE (UK) 1963
Cat No: SL 10053 MONO
Year: 1963
Condition: Cover is EX, Vinyl is VG+/EX
On Offer here is a very nice 1st Issue of John Lee hooker's classic LP 'The Big Soul of ...' on the highly collectible Stateside label.
The Front laminated flip-back cover is Excellent, a few edge wrinkles otherwise really nice copy, the reverse is also very clean and bright with the lightest signs of ageing - tough to find in this condition.
Vinyl is VG+ TO EX, has a couple of very light needle drags and area that has poly-bag sweat rash, not bad and certainly does not affect playback, other than that the record is very nice and shiny, the record has not been played more than a handful of times.
Labels are excellent - light signs of spindle marks suggesting it has spent most of its 53 year life in storage.
Original poly-lined Emitex paper inner sleeves, very tidy, some light ageing and light creasing.
All told this is a near excellent copy of this fantastic John Lee Hooker blues album, its not Mint but it is a very decent copy. They are getting harder and harder to find in any condition.
We try to be as conservative as possible in Grading and give a clear honest description so you will be happy with your purchase.
