Description

Rare original 1st UK pressing of John Lee Hooker - The House Of The Blues.


Pye yellow and red “RnB” labels.

Vinyl visually grades VG with quite a few light hairlines, scuffs and small non feelable scratches under strong light. However despite this, the record plays really well. Some light background crackle in spaces between tracks and a few quiet sections but doesn’t come close to overpowering the music. Not sure how many of these are from the original recording as the spaces between tracks are mostly quiet. A really loud and powerful mono pressing. Great quality UK mono press. Play grade is VG+


The sleeve is also VG+ with light storage wear and some laminate crinkles. Not perfect but no major issues either.


No original inner but I will include a new poly lined inner with this.
