17-track, John Lee Hooker-penned, 2xLP release recorded live at Liberty Records Studios, Los Angeles, California in May 1970. Hooker ‘N Heat is considered a 1970 release although it was actually released on January 15, 1971.

****Since there are too many variables that can affect sound quality (needle quality & age, tone arm weight etc) vinyl grading is typically a visual analysis. If an LP has an obvious, possibly questionable mark (scuff, scratch etc) then we will listen to the songs that could be compromised and list any problems if they occur.

VINYL: Near Mint condition. Though unlikely, appears to have never been played. Vinyl and label are spotless.

COVER/JACKET: Excellent condition with only early signs of color loss on seams at corners. Top left corner is barely promo-clipped. Extremely early first signs of spotty "ring wear". Ring wear is very common as, over time, albums rub against each other within a collection. NOTE: (see photo) the ring wear is noticeable in photo more due to camera flash, it is much less discernable to the naked eye.
