Description
John Lennon 8 Album Set (9 LPs) issued after John Lennon's death in 1980, complete with a reproduction booklet of the Liverpool Echo's tribute.
The LPs look mostly unplayed and are therefore easily near mint, with the exception of Imagine (PAS 10004) which has some small notches/marks on tracks 3 & 5 of side one which result in the occasional click - these marks look more like a pressing defect than actual scratches - see photo 3.
The covers are all easily near mint - the only defect is with the cover of the first album (Live Peace in Toronto) where the glue has separated.
The booklet is mint.
The box is completely intact but does show signs of wear and had been neatly reinforced with tape.
Here is a detailed list of each record's condition - gradings are strict:
1. Live Peace In Toronto: Vinyl NM+,/ EX++ Cover comes apart due to glue separation
2. Plastic Ono Band: Vinyl NM (hairlines under very strong light) / Cover NM+
3. Imagine: EX (a couple of notches on side 1) / Cover NM+
4. Sometime in New York City (DBL): NM-/NM- (feint hairlines under light) / Cover NM+ note: some creasing to Inner sleeve of record 1 (both printed)
5. Mind Games: Vinyl NM+ / Cover & Printed Inner NM+
6.Wall & Bridges: Vinyl NM+ / Fold Out Cover, Lyric booklet & printed inner sleeve all NM+
7. Rock 'n' Roll: Vinyl NM (feint hairlines) / Cover NM+
8. Shaved Fish: Vinyl NM (feint hairlines) / Cover & printed inner NM+
Box EX- (signs of wear, corners neatly reinforced with tape)
Postage within the UK is £7.00 as the box is quite heavy, and will be securely packaged for transit.
