The Lost Lennon Tapes - 25 issues of 2 lp radio shows
This is a collection of 25 double LP packages (a total of 50 LPs) vinyl radio station disks of the "Lost Lennon Tapes" series. Each of these albums is a different collection of the Westwood One Radio programs of unreleased John Lennon demos, alternate versions, otherwise unreleased mixes and various rare material. These were likely played once for an airplay radio broadcast, then put aside, Some of the covers have some small dings, there's a small seam split on about 3 or 4, a few have smudges, and some have an 'audiophile disc' sticker on the cover. I don't know if the sticker was put on there by Westwood or by someone later, but it looks official. All are still in excellent condition and many are in like-new condition.
These are the original promo albums, not reissues or bootlegs!
All of the these radio shows have their original cover, which is the same for each. About half have the insert cue sheet/play lists, usually 2 pages. Some of the cue sheets have writing on them or highlights from the dj who played them. These were supposed to be submitted to Westwood One by the radio station. They may have sent in photocopies, I don't really know. One of the original envelopes that the verification was supposed to be sent back in is present and in the picture. I've listed which ones have at least 1 of the insert pages, which had cuing info on them.

For over 20 years, Venus Records was one of the top collector's stores in Greenwich Village, if not the world. I closed it down in 1999 and kept most of the stock in storage and have just recently started selling it off. There are still a lot of great items to come, so, you may want to put us on your watch list. I'm mostly getting out of the music business and doing online marketing and helping business owners with their strategies, but plan on keeping my good reputation in the music business intact.
