Description

'Mind Games' 1st pressing on the UK Apple Label from 1973. Matrix 1U/1U. Stampers 1-TP & 4-GDG. Heavy set vinyl. The record comes housed in an original Garrod and Lofthouse printed cover with the early pinched spine. Also included is the original G&L lyric inner with three-cut corners. 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely stunning condition and looks shiny like new. The labels look like they are brand new with barely a trace of spindle wear or markings. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of ultra light marks - nothing even vaguely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. We detected a couple of light static crackles in one or two places, but that really is being extremely picky. This is a beautiful copy and is astonishingly well preserved.
Cover (Ex) Has been well cared for and exhibits very little signs of use - just the lightest of edge wear. The text on the spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains its rigidity well. A really well preserved specimen.
Inner (Ex+) Fantastically well preserved. One tiny smudge and that was all we could detect. No ageing or splits.
