JOHN LENNON - 'PLASTIC ONO BAND'
This fine UK 1st pressing of John Lennon's 1st and arguably his best solo album dates from initial December 1970 release and is on the black & white Apple Records label: PCS 7124
Matrix numbers: YEX 827-1U & YEX 828-1U

Housed in a fully laminated UK printed cover complete with its original printed inner-sleeve.

A perfectly clean & unblemished set with some light spindle trails around each centre hole, but no other marks or wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surface which apart from a single 2cm light surface mark on side 2 are 'as new' and unmarked in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this well looked after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This 1st class copy has received just very careful play on good quality equipment and plays cleanly and clearly throughout. My single careful play-check at volume detected no trace of any groove/play wear distortion or any clicks, pops or other such distractions. In fact, apart from a hint of normal light vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault on this superb disc.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
This clean, strong and unworn cover retains a sparkling unworn high-gloss laminate all-round, bearing just two 'thumbnail' creases towards the front opening edge. There is a touch of shelfwear to the lower two corners but none to the upper two or to either opening edge. The rear panel is pristine with no marks or wear of any kind. Both seams and the fully worded spine are all smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat & unworn with a hint of toning to the paper & faint disc impression, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
