John Lennon ~ Plastic Ono Band
Very 1st UK Apple Press ~ GORGEOUS!
Up for sale is a VERY RARE very first UK Apple pressing of The John Lennon~Plastic Ono Band. The beautiful laminated jacket has no flaps on the back and a pinched spine at the corners. Comes with the original printed inner sleeve. All of which signify a very first pressing from 1970. Beautiful readable spine. Seams are strong with no seam splits. CATALOG NUMBER: PCS 7124.
The plain white Apple label is the very first label variation. The matrix codes in the deadwax are of the very first YEX 827-1U A 1/YEX 828-1U M 1. "1" Mother Stampers!! The best sounding version of this album!! A true rarity!!
