The Beatles' John Lennon "JOHN LENNON sings the great rock & roll hits" / "ROOTS" very rare 1975 ADAMVlll LTD., AVlll 8018, TV mail order only LP (only 3000 legitimate copies), pulled off the market after only 3 days, cover is NM-, vinyl Side 1 is NM-, Side 2 is NM, this item passes every test: the cover is made out of posterboard, the inside is white and there is no paste-on slick; the spine reads "GREAT" (whereas most counterfeit copies say GREATEST); the word STEREO on the front right bottom corner has clear, distinct letters (counterfeit LP's often have the letters bleeding / overlapping), you can see Lennon's left shoulder clearly (counterfeits have enlarged front photos on their covers obscuring the left shoulder); the cover's back two other very small LP advertisement photos have legible song titles and artists (it may take some reading glasses but you can read them, and all known counterfeits have print that is absolutely unreadable); the deadwax of the record has "Bell Sound" on both sides; the deadwax of the record also has the matrix number hand-etched into both sides; and the final MOST IMPORTANT feature only found on originals is that the matrix number (A 8018 A) is very lightly pressed into the Side 1 label edge (see photo 7 with magnification), please view all photos, guaranteed original.
