If you are looking at this auction, you are probably aware that this has been counterfeited through the years. I have tried to determine authenticity but I cannot. The spine reads "John Lennon Sings The Great Rock & Roll Hits" just as the front cover does. However, I cannot read the names of the songs on the Soul Train ad on the back cover. Therefore, I am more inclined to think that this is not authentic. However, I will not unseal the album

I HAVE RECEIVED INFORMATION FROM AN EBAYER WHO HAS TOLD ME THAT THIS IS A COUNTERFEIT COPY SINCE JOHN'S SHOULDERS HAVE BEEN CROPPED ON THE FRONT COVER.
