LP not gatefold, with nserto additional 2 pages with text and biographical notes in Japanese and English. Obi color black background, showing the price of 2,800 yen.

John Winston Lennon (Liverpool, October 9, 1940 - December 8, 1980) was a guitarist, composer and singer English. From 1962 to 1970 he was a composer and singer (soloist) of the musical group the Beatles, of which, paired with Paul McCartney, has also composed most of the songs. By Paul McCartney has formed one of the most important and successful musical partnerships in musical history of the twentieth century, using "some of the most popular songs of the history of rock and roll." It is the second most successful songwriter in the history of the British charts after McCartney. In 2002, a BBC poll of the 100 most important Britons of all time ranked eighth. Over the experience with the Beatles, John Lennon was also a solo musician, author of drawings and poems, and political activist and champion of pacifism. This caused him some problems with the U.S. authorities (FBI), which have long looked out all its activities and those of his wife Yoko Ono, considering it as a subversive and often refusing American citizenship. Was assassinated in shots from a revolver deranged fan, Mark David Chapman, the evening of 8 December 1980 in New York. Lennon was married twice: first marriage to Cynthia Powell since he had a son Julian, while the second marriage with the Japanese artist Yoko Ono, son Sean was born. Both sons have followed the career of his father. After her marriage to Yoko, John changed his name to John Ono Lennon born.

Menlove Avenue is the second posthumous album by John Lennon, released in 1986 thanks to Yoko Ono. Mostly the disc consists of songs dating back to the tumultuous recording sessions for the album Rock 'n' Roll chaired by Phil Spector (who ran away with the tapes before the end of the album) and then discarded from the final version. There are also several songs Outakes of the previous album, Lennon, Walls and Bridges. The portrait of Lennon appears on the cover is a work of Andy Warhol dating a few months before Lennon's murder in 1980. Shaved Fish
