Description
This is a very rare original 1969 UK 5-track pressing on the short-lived ZAPPLE label, complete with the original ZAPPLE 01 inner sleeve. This original UK pressing is rarely on the market, especially in this condition.
Cat. No. ZAPPLE 01. Matrix: ZAPPLE 01 A1 & B1. Stamper codes: 1A & 1O. These are very early stampers indicating an early copy of the first pressing.
The ZAPPLE labels are easily excellent (+), with only the most faint and minor spindle marks visible under strong light. The labels look like new.
The original ZAPPLE 01inner sleeve is in excellent condition, with no yellowing, no rips, and only extremely minor small creases.
The cover is excellent (+) condition and very close to mint (-) condition. The fully laminated cover retains a strong glossy appearance, with no glazing, only the faintest of ring impression on the back, no edge wear, no spine wear, and only an extremely minor sign of corner wear on one corner. There is a very few minor and small creases on the cover. There is on the upper right corner of the back cover, a very faint and small impression from a written name, very hard to detect and does not detract from the excellence of this fine cover.
The vinyl is in excellent condition, with no marks and only faint paper scuffing visible under bright and direct sunlight.
This copy plays in excellent condition, with no nasty pops or crackling, no jumps and only very light crackling and static evident.
Please note I am no longer shipping internationally. USA domestic shipping only. Unfortunately international shipping is too risky, expensive and frustrating for sellers and buyers as insurance is limited or unavailable and very expensive for the seller, the paperwork is tiresome for the seller, customs fees & taxes for buyers can be exorbitant, items can be held in customs for several weeks if not longer, and payment is held by Paypal for at least several weeks.
