This is a Gorgeous Pressing from 1974 This is a Near Mint Early Press. "MFD,By Apple Records Inc." at the bottom of the label on side 1.  This record is almost MINT ! There are no more than a couple of very faint 1 second tics of the needle on track 3 on each side. You won't hear the needle anywhere else on this LP- not even in between cuts !  This was my wife's copy, and like many things she buys, she opened it, used it once or twice and left it. In this case it was filed under "L"- all of our Beatle stuff is filed under "B". In any case this was likely the 3rd time this LP has been played and it sounds and looks NEAR MINT !!
Apple- SW-3416 This was the 5th  LP from John Lennon. He recorded this during an 18 month separation from Yoko. He brought in what was called "The Plastic Ono Nuclear Band" for this LP. Special Guests included Elton John on Keyboards along with Voormann, Keltner and old Beatle friends. The LP also credited "The Philharmonic Orchestrange" and other characters like Dr. Winston O. Boogie. This would be John's last original LP  material until double fantasy in 1980.  The vinyl looks and sounds Near Mint !!! The  Cover is Near Mint ! The cover is a die cut that includes many of John's childhood drawings The spine is very tight and most of the writing on the spine is very clear. The top and bottom seams are very tight with very light fraying. The corners are Excellent with very minor flaws. The Art work is Near Mint on the front  and rear cover with almost no ring wear. There are  some very minor bends. The inner sleeve is Excellent with no splits. The 8 page Booklet is Near Mint and has probably been handled 3 or 4 times!! I have play tested every listed album using Goldmine & Metrowax as my grading guides and the ratings are based mostly on what I hear.  I purchased every album brand new and always removed the shrink in an attempt to avoid warping, (Old wives tale?) and all were played on a top quality turntable and only with a  diamond needle.

All records are from my personal collection unless otherwise noted.  Most of the early and mid-60’s LP’s include the “Russo record rating system” – these ratings are written in ink and include purchase date, price and store.  The majority contain original inner sleeves and if not a sleeve will be included.  Please see photo’s for spindle wear and label condition and the song listings.
