I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Even non-Beatles fans are familiar with the fact that John and Yoko’s “Happy Xmas” single was issued on clear green vinyl in 1971.  Most of us also know that there are extremely rare copies that have either brown and green or black and green swirls.

I’ve only ever seen two copies since 1975 that were pressed in solid dark green vinyl, which are to the point where at first glance, they look like black vinyl copies.

The labels on this copy have edgewear.  But the vinyl surfaces are gorgeous.

Vinyl: EX/EX.  Both sides almost present as Near Mint, with the exceptions of just a very few stray light and short lines.

At first glance it looks like there are fingerprints on the edges of the record.  But closer examination will show you that these are swirls that show up better on the record’s edges.

Hold this copy up to the light.  You CANNOT see through it anywhere except a thin band around the lip of the record!

Plates: Z5/Z5.  “Bell Sound” and “sf” both present. Machine-stamped letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.

Labels: VG/VG.  It appears to me that there may have been double labels stamped onto this 45 on both sides as sometimes happens with Jacksonville, and that a previous owner may have crudely removed them.  See photos.

Sleeve: EX.  Pretty good-looking Apple sleeve.  Minimal white wear, and almost no label serration outdent around the playhole.  Certainly NO SPLIT SEAMS.

**Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.**

**Man, I REALLY hate to get rid of this one.  But I’ve stared at it enough, I s’pose.  Time for another collector to love on it!**

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
