UNFINISHED MUSIC No. 1: TWO VIRGINS
APPLE SAPCOR 2 / NEGRAM 7004-S
Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins was only released in 3 countries upon its original release in late 1968. Released in The UK, The USA, and Holland. John could not get EMI to distribute it in the UK. So, in the UK it was handled by Track Records, The Who's label, and in The USA by Bill Cosby's label, Tettragramattion. But in Holland it was the very small company NEGRAM. Negram Pressed 500 Lps with their own cover with a pinched spine. The only original version to have spine text printed on it. They sold 300 copies and 200 were returned to the label. Instead of the brown paper bag in the US, Negram placed a green peel able sticker over John and Yoko's private parts.
The rarest copies of Two Virgins is of course The Mono Apcor 2"
The second rarest pressing is the NEGRAM pressing from Holland with the Green Apple Sticker.
Only around 300 sold and most do not come with the sticker.
The original owner peeled it off and stuck it to the front cover!
Comes with original Black inner sleeve made with very thick and coarse paper.
