Description

My dad managed /owned a record distribution company in 1960’s in New Jersey. I Had access to many greats and collected since 1962. The Two Virgins was sealed originally. I opened it in 1970’s and played once. I had two and that one I sold here a few months back. This one was again played only once. The cover has some minor ware. There is some separation ( image on side) a few 1/2”-1” tears and a few age spots. It has been held 51 years! The record itself is pristine. I always had good turntables and played the one time. See images. The sleeve is in VG shape , has a slight separation at gum and slight age spots, but generally very good- . More images are available, so please ask. This is an original treasured classic from early introduction. Made in UK.

The Double Fantasy. A 1980 David Geffen release is in VG shape, played a few times and the condition shows little to no wear other than a little separation( glue) on sleeve .Records are in beautiful shape as I didn’t play often.

A little history on Two Virgins: The couple recorded in one night, he was still married to Cynthia, they consummated (the first time) the next morning. This album was received in New Jersey although there was a ban in New Jersey on this record initially. I’m not sure how or when it got through. Two Virgins, Double Fantasy LPS 50 Years Of Collecting Auction.#T-5001,#GHS-2001. Condition is Used.
