Description
Hi there, presented here is a very first UK issue of the John Mayall LP "Blues Breakers", on Decca, Mono! This was arguably Eric Clapton's first recorded calling card to the planet. The vinyl here is stunning with only a couple of plays. So here's the condition:-
The LP itself:- EX+ Fantastic sheen to both sides, having looked carefully under a light, I cant even see any light marks. If they are there, they must be very tough to see. This has clearly only has a couple of plays. Finest example that I have seen.
The Labels:- EX+ Original "unboxed" Decca labels, lovely shine and lustre. The print is fully clear and bright on both sides. Very light spindle wear, only visible when tilted. No writing
The Sleeve:- EX Front cover is virtually umblemished, lovely clear photo. Title spine is proud and fully legible. Rear flipback sleeve has all flaps fully intact with little wear. Has got the usual small oxidization marks on the rear sleeve, virtually unavoidable on this issue. These aren't intrusive. Very light feathering to opening edge. No writing.
Inner sleeve:- VG "Handling" text original inner sleeve, has usual wear for its age, though is better than most. General feathering and oxidization.
Overall a fantastic example of an already rare album. The LP itself has to be seen to be believed. Overseas postage on request, above figure is just a guideline. Thanks for looking, it is appreciated. Apologies for the poor photos!
This LP shall be posted in a professional mailer with stiffeners. The LP, in its inner sleeve, shall be removed from the main cover and placed next to it, to avoid edge cuts in transit.
