Description
John Mayall, ‘CRUSADE’ ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE DECCA RECORDS MONO LP, Cat No, LK 4890.
Crusade is the fourth album and third studio album by the British blues rock band John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, released on 1 September 1967 on Decca Records. It was the follow-up to A Hard Road, also released in 1967. As with their two previous albums, Crusade was produced by Mike Vernon. The album was the first recordings of a young 18-year-old guitarist, Mick Taylor.
Both record labels are in superb Near Mint condition, bright and undamaged record labels with just a few light signs of play to the centre of each label.
Side1 matrix ARL-7995-1A & side 2: ARL-7996-1A .
Both sides of the heavy vinyl LP are also in beautiful Near Mint condition, clean and bright vinyl surfaces no scuffs, or scratches, just a couple of light hairlines.
The LP comes in it’s original red printed mono inner sleeve, and is protected in it’s original glossy front laminated Mac Neill Press, London, Picture Sleeve.
The sleeve is in very nice Near Mint condition. The sleeve still retains its gloss laminate to the front, with no fading to the colours, with just very light signs of record storage to the front panel . There are NO seam splits to any of the edges or spine, the reverse panel is clean with mild handling signs, and the previous owners name at the top.
This is a superb example of this original 1967 rare and obscure John Mayall Blues album.
