Description
This is an original mono Decca LP by John Mayall with Eric Clapton on the red Decca label. It was released in 1966 in mono as LK 4804. The stereo mix was released 3 years later. The mono mix is punchy and shows up Eric’s ferocious guitar solos very well in the mono mix.The record itself is in great condition and the vinyl still has a nice sheen with just 3 or 4 very light hairline scratches. There are minimal crackles when listening, with the exception of quieter parts. Side 1 label does have the previous owner’s initials written on it but it’s not too prominent and the record sleeve also has the previous owner’s first initial and surname written on the back. The sleeve has some creasing around the edges but it is clean with only very mild discolouration on the back. Please see the photos for details. Thanks for looking.
