Description

Here is a set of two 45 rpm actetates containing three unreleased songs by John Merrill of the Peanut Butter Conspiracy and the Ashes. The tracks are "Mr. Green," "Love Is Many Colors" and "That Girl of Mine." All three tracks are mildly psychedelic folk rock with bluesy guitar. The only reference I've been able to find to these tunes are copyright documents from 1971 and 1972, so evidently he recorded these soon after the Conspiracy broke up. One of the discs contains "Mr. Green" is in VG+ condition with excellent playback, and includes the original sheet music. The other contains two tracks, "Love Is Many Colors" and "That Girl of Mine," and is in VG condition with very strong playback and a bit of background crackle.
