Original very early 1st Los Angeles, CA plant pressing 7" 45 RPM EP of John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band "Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) / Who Has Seen the Wind?" released on February 6, 1970. "Instant Karma" is one of the fastest-released songs in pop music history as it was conceived, written, recorded and released within a period of ten days. Original rare label variation without "Plastic Ono Band" on the "Instant Karma!" side under "Loud John Ono Lennon". The catalog number "1818" is located below the "Maclen Music Inc. BMI" credits. The listing includes an original vintage 1970 Apple Records 7" 45 RPM EP "Instant Karma" native shipping box with a very rare insert containing the Apple logo and text reading "Apple with Compliments" along with the "Apple Corps Ltd. 6 Stratton Street, London W1X 5FD" address. Large Apple Records logo on both sides of the box with the "Instant Karma" EP's catalog number "1818" handwritten at the top, as it was usually done when shipping the records, under the "Record No." text. The rim text at the bottom of the green logo on both sides reads: "Apple Records Inc. 3117 San Fernando Rd., Los Angeles, Calif., 90065 Special Fourth Class Rate - Sound Recordings". The left edge of the box contains the "7-25" numbers referring to the record format and the quantity that fits inside the box. This is an incredible unplayed copy pressed at the Capitol Records Los Angeles, CA pressing plant and contains the "*" identifier on both sides. The mastering of this copy was performed by BellSound Studios, whose identifiers in cursive handwriting are also located in the runout groove on both sides. The full matrix number are as follows: Side 1 - 4 SX 47127-9 2 BellSound sf * Phil+Ronnie / Side 2 - S-4SX-47128-10 BellSound sf 2 *.

I grade the picture sleeve as Mint Minus. It's in outstanding condition and doesn't have any splits, wear or scuffing. The vinyl and labels are in amazing unplayed Mint condition. The original vintage Apple Records "Instant Karma" EP shipping box is in great condition, only having some light signs of use along with some wear on the back left from a removed tape.
