Description

This is Blue Note Records BST 84130, John Patton Along Came John, a blue and white New York USA label, original stereo issue of this classic record with Van Gelder and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG+(+) condition, (a strong VG+), showing light marks on both sides and playing quietly except for occasional light crackle (mostly between tracks). This is a nice sounding copy featuring classic Rudy Van Gelder sound. The laminated cover, with it's 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address, has some wear on the lower seam but is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent but show spindle marks. An original thumbnail inner sleeve is included. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful original Blue Note with all the proper markings evident. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins.
