JOHN PRINE Self-Titled Debut Album
In EXCELLENT, VINTAGE condition!
I bought this a few years ago from a used record store and it has been stored in a plastic sleeve. I always clean my records before I play them and this has been played less than five times.
Cover has very light wear, mostly around the edges. Inside liner is good except for a tear at the top (see last photo). Vinyl is EXCELLENT with very few light crackles associated with a vintage disc. I just played it from start to finish and was amazed at how good this still sounds! There were a couple of small skips during "Your Flag Decal Won't Get You Into Heaven Anymore" that could possibly be removed.
ATLANTIC SD 8296 - This version has the lyrics on a separate insert sheet as opposed to other versions which have the lyrics on the actual inner sleeve. The inner sleeve shows several other Atlantic albums of this vintage from artists like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Bad Company, Bette Midler, Yes, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, and of course, John Prine's "Sweet Revenge."
I'm only selling this because I ended up with three copies of this album. This album sounds like a John Prine's Greatest Hits, it's that good! See my other auctions for more John Prine on vinyl!
