Condition:
Cover: VG (general wear; top seam glue has come away from rear sleeve [but can easily be repaired]; two marks on cover where stickers have been removed).
Vinyl (sides a &b): VG (not much spindle-wear on either side; light surface marks on vinyl; Decca inner sleeve has “sweated” onto both sides of the vinyl; b-side label has writing that has been discreetly tippex-ed out).
A well-loved/played copy of this British modern jazz classic, issued as part of Decca’s legendary Deram subsidiary. An equally legendary line-up is featured, including such hallowed names as Kenny Wheeler and Harry Beckett (trumpets/flugelhorns), John Taylor (piano) and Alan Skidmore & Stan Sulzmann (saxophones).
The winning bidder will require access to some sort of vinyl LP cleaning machine because, as noted above, the Decca inner sleeve has “sweated” onto both sides of the vinyl. This, however, is superficial and therefore easily removed.
