Description
For auction is this very rare 1970 LP by the stellar saxophonist John Tchicai, renowned for playing on groundbreaking 'free jazz' recordings such as the New York Art Quartet, with Archie Shepp, on John Coltrane's Ascension, with Bill Dixon etc.
This is a now rare LP recorded on Polydor (cat no: 2343-015, though it has a different cat number on back - a sleeve printing error I believe) This is with his Cadentia Nova Danica that he formed after he moved back to Denmark in the late 60s. Recorded in concert at the Conservatory of Music, Aarhus, Denmark 27th October, 1968.
The vinyl looks and sounds NM, a very clean and well looked-after item that plays superbly, great for an album as old as I am!
The cover is VG+ & mostly clean with a nice spine and some minimal wear/edge/age darkening. Looks great overall.
Record will be very well packaged in a cruciform mailer & posted with insurance/tracked.
Open to bidders in UK & also want to make this available to Europe & States but apologies to international bidders for the tax on exported goods from from the UK. First time doing this in a while so hopefully import duties your end not too much.
