John Williams - Star Wars (Original Soundtrack)

(20th Century Records BTD 541 UK Double LP 1977)


This is a UK original Double LP (2 x LP) pressing. It has a heavyweight matt gatefold sleeve. This is front stickered with a "Poster" sticker. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeves. It comes with its original information insert. This is printed on paper. It also comes complete with its original giant Fold-Out Poster. The records are pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1/ C-2/ D-1 matrix stampers. The records also glow translucent red when viewed through a strong light.

This is a genuine 1977 1st pressing UK 1st pressing of this classic Soundtrack double LP. It has a front stickered gatefold sleeve & comes complete with the insert & Poster. It has the earliest matrix numbers. Also, the vinyl glows translucent red when viewed through a strong light. These are not that common to find complete. Don't miss out!



Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is some light or very mild rubbing wear to the top edge in some places. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light or very mild ringwear. VG+ condition

Vinyl 1: There are some light or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light or very mild pressing marks on a couple of areas. NEAR EX condition. The labels are in excellent condition & show light spindle wear only. The company paper inner sleeve is in EX condition. There is some light ringwear. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Excellent overall & Excellent+ in many places. Really well indeed! 

Vinyl 2: There are some light or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light or very mild pressing marks on some areas. VG++ condition. The labels are in near excellent condition & show light or very mild spindle wear only. The company paper inner sleeve is in EX condition. There is some light ringwear. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall, & Excellent+ in many places. Really well indeed! There is some light or very minor crackle in a few quieter places. 

The information Insert is in Near Excellent condition. There are a couple of light creases. The Poster is unused. It has never been attached to a wall. It is in VG++ condition overall. There are some light or very mild handling creases. There are no rips or tears.
