This John Wright Trio South Side Soul vinyl record is a 1963 reissue with a laminated cover. We know it is the 63 reissue because it does not have the deep groove that the 1960 pressing has. The matrix number is PRLP7190 (A and B) RVG for Rudy Van Gelder. Van Gelder studio is where this was recorded. It comes on Prestige Records with the black and yellow label including the address 203 South Washington Ave. Bergenfield, N.J. right on the label. The jacket does appear to have water damage on the bottom and the photos show that, although the jacket doesn’t have any split seams. The vinyl has some surface scuffs. The grading on the vinyl is VG+ and the jacket is VG.
