Description

This is the original mono pressing of John Wright “The Last Amen” on the trident labels of Prestige 8322.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The coated cover is in excellent condition; very slight rubbing on the front; 1” wear on the top seam, at the spine; the bottom seam has ¼” wear at the spine and ¾” wear at the opening; age toning on the left and right edges of the back slick.  Although the definitive Rupple Prestige discography lists this as a Status release, it never was.  Personnel include Eugene Taylor and Walter McCants. $200.00.
