Johnnie Walker 45rpm 1964 Tollie 9017 You’re All Mine / Rain From The Skies – Promo – Free Shipping
Pop, “Beatles” Garage Rock
You are bidding on the exact record shown in my photos. It is the original Tollie Records #9017 Mono Promotional Copy by Johnnie Walker as released in August 1964.
The songs are “Rain From The Skies”, a pleasant pop song originally recorded in 1963 by Adam Wade on Epic #5-9566, b /w “You’re All Mine”, a garage rocker done in Beatles style - Probably the most Beatle-sounding song NOT done by the Beatles!!
This is NOT Johnny "Big Moose" Walker the Blues musician. I can find no bio info on this Johnnie Walker. This is a Burt Bacharach-influenced pop record. Burt arranged both sides and co-wrote “Rain From The Skies”.
Condition: Record is in NM (Near-Mint) condition (based on Goldmine). The labels are clean and intact. The vinyl is clean and shiny with no scratches or defects. The record looked un-played until I played it a few times to check it out Please see all my photos.
Most importantly, the record plays beautifully and perfectly on my Fisher system with no noise, tics or skips.
