Johnny Ace Memorial Album
Offering this 1955 Duke 10" LP (LP-70) by Johnny Ace in VG condition. Record still retains some shine, has a few light scratches but plays well without skips and easily worthy of VG grade. Sound quality is good to very good but does have a bit of surface noise. Probably could use a professional cleaning with a Nitty Gritty or other record cleaning system. Label is NM both sides and no noticable spindle wear. Cover shows age discoloration on back and has some scuff spots near top middle on front. No visable wear ring front or back. Bottom seam is intact, top seam has split starting at insert slot about 4" and the last 3" to the spline, the spline has a split nearly the entire length. The splits can all be repaired so as to be barely noticeable but I have not done so because some collectors prefer to make their own repairs. There is some handwritten names at the top of the back of sleeve which is visable in the picture I have provided. Record will be removed from cover sleeve and shipped in seperate 10" paper sleeve to prevent further seam damage.
