Description
Here is an original Sun EP-113 with a NM picture sleeve. This 1958 EP includes 'I Walk The Line', 'Wreck Of The Old '97', 'Folsom Prison Blues' and Doin' My Time'.
Note: Ebay's compression of my sleeve photo is wretched. It looks far better than the photo shows.. I will happily send a clear photo with no compression 'aliasing' upon request. But I will need an email address.
Sun Records - EP-113 - 1958
The cardboard sleeve in in NM condition. It has crisp seams, pointed corners and no writing or wear to report beyond some VERY light age yellowing on the back. The front is shiny laminate with only the slightest contact haze. There are no stains. This sleeve is display quality. Quite nice for a 48 year old sleeve.
Sun disks are very forgiving. This disk has a few marks, two which are feelable, yet can NOT be heard in play. Sun pressings are so hot and out front that I can honestly say, once in play, reproduction is EX. The only surface noise is between track and entry. So, it looks VG but plays EX. The labels are clean. I am sure the buyer will be pleased. And I might mention, the sleeve has twice the book value of the disk.
I ship records properly, 'disk out of cover' in a 2 ml poly sleeve and sent in a cardboard LP mailer. Questions are welcomed. Bid with confidence.
VINYL GRADING
M- = a pristine record
EX+ = a near mint record. May have VERY minor marks that can only be seen in bright light and plays with NO surface noise
EX = a well-kept record. May have micro-sleeve lines, perhaps minor marks that do NOT affect play. NM-
VG+ = a nice record. May have superficial marks but plays with MINIMAL surface sound ONLY in quiet passages.
VG = a used record. Has visible marks, light scratches and minor surface noise, but is still a good listening experience.
VG- = a well-used record. Has marks, minor scratches and obvious surface noise, but still plays through with NO skips and is still enjoyable.
