16 inch Guest Star Radio Transcriptions
Two 1.0 mil Microgroove Discs
Guest Star was a radio program produced by the U.S. Treasury Department from the 1940s to the 1960s to promote the sale of U.S. savings bonds. The show was a public service announcement featuring top-name celebrities and was provided to radio stations for broadcast in the public interest. Each disc contains four 15 minute shows with various stars. Johnny Cash is guest on one program of each disc.

These transcriptions can only be played on a turntable that can accommodate large 16 inch diameter records. These discs sound very good and contain some scuffs and scratches that are more noticeable on the outer tracks.
