Johnny Costa The amazing Johnny Costa Savoy mono red DG RVG Johnny Costa ' The amazing Johnny Costa ' SAVOY MG 12052 (USA) mono red label with deep groove - rec. in February 1955 - issued in 1955 - on trail-off (dead wax) has printed 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder Johnny Costa : piano Side A : Tea for two - Caravan - Manhattan - Flamingo Side B : There's a small hotel - Honeysuckle rose - Stella by starlight - Dancing in the dark - La mer Visual grading : record is VG+ full lustre has light wear and some very light unfeelable surface marks. Also few wispy lines, Clean labels with some spindle wear Playing grading : record is VG- plays with loud sound but has a continuous light background noise below music's level troughtout the record. Also has few occasional ticks and some crackling mostly audible in second part of side B Cover grading : cover is VG- to VG has wear to corners, edges and to spine. Top right corner has clear tape more visible on back cover (cm.8 or 3").
