Johnny Fortune-The Soul Surfer, Park Ave. Label 1301. Perhaps the coolest if not one of the rarest and most sought after of all the great surf, rockabilly, guitar instrumental lp's of all time from this California teen guitar sensation who only released this one record from this era. Fortune lays down some of the most memorable, unique and flavorful surf and Rock and Roll Chet Atkins style fingerpickin' ever recorded with his rockin' band featuring his brothers and friends in 1963. A must have for any serious guitar player or guitar instrumental music fan! The front cover and spine are in great shape with only slight top right sleeve seperation and slight paper loss at the bottom center. Back cover is in equally superb condition with slight water stain and breach of bottom layer of sleeve. The vinyl is PRISTINE! And I mean it. Could barely take photos of it with all the shine! With all that being said do not pass on this awesome LP as they rarely come up for sale and auction. It has been the grand prize of my guitar record collection for several years!
