This is one incredible jazz LP.
Recorded when Frigo was all of seventy-seven years of age, the performances nevertheless come off with incredible verve and energy, the violinist joined by Gene Bertoncini on guitar, Michael Moore on bass, Joe Vito on piano, Bob Kindred on sax, and Bill Goodwin on drums.
As is the practice at Chesky Records, minimalist microphone techniques were used, without overdubbing or artificial enhancement, to ensure the purest, most natural sound.
Great selections include GET HAPPY, I’M OLD FASHIONED, OSAKA SAKI, NUAGES, JITTERBUG WALTZ, I LOVE PARIS, and HERE’S THAT RAINY DAY, among others.

Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
