Johnny Griffin Studio jazz party w.Dave Burns Riverside mono DG blue Johnny Griffin's Studio Jazz Party RIVERSIDE RLP 338 (USA) mono blue label with deep groove - rec. in September 1960 - issued in 1960 Johnny Griffin : tenor sax - Dave Burns : trumpet - Norman Simmons : piano - Vic Sproles : bass - Ben Riley : drums Side 1 : Party time - Good bait - There will never be another you Side 2 : Toe-tappin' - You've changed - Low gravy Visual grading : record is VG to VG+ still much lustre has some light unfeelable surface marks and few wispy lines mostly on side 2. Clean labels with very light spindle marks Playing grading : record is VG to VG+ plays fairly well with loud and clear sound, Has some light occasional background noise more audible in quieter parts and light occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is VG- has wear to corners, edges and to spine. Top edge has been repaired for a long split. Also bottom right corner has been repaired for a seam split. Has light ringwear and a sticker on top of front.
